Terms of Service

Introduction
CreatorMade, operating online as DeckUnion, provides custom deck and card product planning, manufacturing coordination, sampling support, production review, and quote coordination for creators and commercial project owners. These terms explain how we work with RFQ submissions, quotes, files, samples, production, payment, delivery, and disputes. Submitting an RFQ or contacting us does not create a binding production order, payment obligation, or guaranteed supplier commitment.
Acceptance of Terms
By browsing this site, submitting an RFQ, sending project files, approving a written quote, or otherwise working with CreatorMade or DeckUnion, you agree to these terms. If a written quote, invoice, production approval, or separate signed agreement includes different project-specific terms, those written terms control for that project. Disputes are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, with arbitration seated in Hong Kong under the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) administered rules in force at the time of the dispute. The language of arbitration is English.
Quotes and Project Scope
Pricing, timelines, minimum quantities, materials, packaging options, and feasibility are reviewed case by case. Any numbers shown on the site are planning guidance until confirmed in a written quote. Unless otherwise stated, written quotes are valid for 30 days. Material costs, freight rates, exchange rates, supplier capacity, or project changes after that window may require a revised quote. A quote covers only the scope, specifications, quantities, files, packaging, and delivery assumptions stated in writing.
Your Files, Artwork, and Content
You are responsible for the artwork, text, trademarks, permissions, and production files you provide. You confirm that you own or have licensed all rights needed to manufacture, package, sell, and distribute the submitted content. You agree to indemnify CreatorMade, DeckUnion, and our production partners against third-party claims, losses, or expenses arising from client-provided artwork, text, trademarks, imagery, or other content. CreatorMade does not take ownership of your client artwork or project IP; you retain those rights. We may retain production files for up to 12 months after project completion for reprint convenience, then delete them unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Sampling and Production Approval
Sampling, production, payment, delivery, and quality expectations should be confirmed in writing before paid production begins. Production begins only after written approval of final proofs, approved production specifications, or signed sample sign-off. Color matching is handled as a best-effort process within standard print tolerances; perfect monitor-to-print color matching is not guaranteed. Minor variations in card thickness, trimming, cut alignment, finish feel, packaging fit, or color within industry tolerances are not defects.
Payment Terms
A deposit is required to schedule production. The typical deposit range is 30-50%, but the exact amount will be stated in your written quote. The remaining balance is due before shipment unless a different written schedule is agreed. Payments are accepted through bank wire transfer (T/T), Wise, and Stripe. Stripe is typically used for smaller deposits and add-ons; wire transfer or Wise is preferred for production-scale balance payments. Quotes are in USD unless otherwise agreed in writing. The client is responsible for any transfer, processing, or currency-conversion fees charged by the sending bank or payment provider.
Shipping, Customs, and Delivery
Production lead times stated in a quote are estimates based on project scope, material availability, proof approval, and factory capacity. International shipping usually adds 5-30 business days depending on method, including DHL air, FedEx, sea freight, or another agreed carrier. The buyer is responsible for import duties, customs fees, broker fees, VAT, GST, and local taxes unless the quote specifically states DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms. Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer at carrier handoff unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellation and Refunds
If you cancel before production starts, the deposit may be refundable minus reasonable design, proofing, sourcing, sampling, administration, or production-preparation costs already incurred. If you cancel after production begins, the deposit is non-refundable and any partial refund is considered case by case based on the production stage and recoverable costs. Completed and shipped custom goods are not refundable unless defects exceed agreed specifications or standard industry tolerances.
Limitation of Liability
CreatorMade's total liability for any project is capped at the amount paid by the client for that specific project. CreatorMade is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, lost profit, lost opportunity, business interruption, reputational, or downstream resale damages. We provide no warranty beyond reasonable conformance to the approved sample, proof, quote, or written production specification.
Force Majeure
CreatorMade is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, civil unrest, labor disruptions, supplier failures, material shortages, shipping disruptions, customs delays, carrier failures, government action, power outages, or platform outages. These events may excuse delay or non-performance while the event continues, but they do not cancel payment obligations for approved work already performed or goods already produced.
Confidentiality
Both parties should keep non-public project specifications, artwork files, pricing, supplier details, and commercially sensitive communications confidential. CreatorMade may showcase finished work in case studies, portfolio examples, or educational materials with client names anonymized unless the client provides written permission to use a real name, brand name, or identifying details.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, both parties agree to first try to resolve it through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation does not resolve the issue, mediation or arbitration is preferred before litigation where legally available and mutually practical. These terms and any disputes are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. Unresolved disputes will be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in Hong Kong administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) under the HKIAC Administered Arbitration Rules in force at the time of the dispute. The seat of arbitration is Hong Kong, the language is English, and the tribunal will consist of one arbitrator unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
Modifications
CreatorMade may update these terms from time to time. Updates are effective when posted on this page. Active projects are governed by the terms in effect when the written quote is signed or otherwise accepted, unless both parties agree in writing to apply updated terms.
